A truly unique tea, Jasmine Downy Pearls are derived from teas grown from the Fujian province in China. Leaves are carefully harvested and neatly rolled into "pearls" before they are dried and scented with Jasmine. The resulting flavor is smooth with a light floral scent. For this tea, only the youngest leaves are processed. Each three leaves along with white downs of the buds are rolled together into a "pearl" and wrapped in mesh before being dried to hold its form.
