Suiseki are viewing stones that are appreciated by their decorative value, and are naturally found in rivers, oceans, or lakes. Popular types of suiseki suggest a mountain, a waterfall, an island, a thatched hut or an animal.

This jagged surfaced landscape stone was procured from the Mikura River, near the town of Wakasa. This stone has a cut bottom that has been carved to appear as a naturally occurring bottom. Includes a custom, hand-carved wooden daiza stand. Stone pictured is the actual stone that will ship.
