Suiseki are viewing stones that are appreciated by their decorative value, and are naturally found in rivers, oceans, or lakes. Popular types of suiseki suggest a mountain, a waterfall, an island, a thatched hut or an animal.

Red Kotaro Figure Stone suggests a Buddha-like figure resting on a lotus flower base. Natural and unaltered, the stone was sourced from the Kotarozawa in Hokkaido, Japan. Stone includes a custom, hand-carved wooden daiza stand. This stone has been appraised by the Viewing Stone Associaton of North America (VSANA).
