Suiseki are viewing stones that are appreciated by their decorative value, and are naturally found in rivers, oceans, or lakes. Popular types of suiseki suggest a mountain, a waterfall, an island, a thatched hut or an animal.

This Japanese Seigaku stone was sourced from the Abe River. A very attractive landscape stone with a single cut on the bottom, it includes a traditional Japanese hand-carved hardwood base, called a daiza, and a traditional storage box (kiri bako), made of Paulownia wood. Stone pictured is the actual stone that will ship. This stone has been appraised by the Viewing Stone Associaton of North America (VSANA).
