For 2018 Earth Day, we spent Saturday at the Huntington Library offering a free bonsai kids workshop. Our Eastern Leaf team volunteered and showed up early to set up and assist the kids as they learned about soil and how to repot a bonsai. The turnout was more than we expected as we ended up running out of trees 1 hour before the end time. We were able to give away 75 free bonsai trees to kids of all ages. Next year, we will need to bring more!
