Yesterday evening, I stumbled across a great Juniper Procumbens Nana in our nursery that was perfect for a semi cascade. I spent the evening styling the tree. Its always best to work from the bottom to the top, developing the apex at the very end. After deciding on the front of the tree as well as the angle, I brought down a few branches with heavy wire and moved them forward. I then wired the secondary branches and arranged the branches into a layers to make the tree look more full.
I was only able to get through the bottom portions of the tree but hopefully will be able to finish in the next few days. Sometimes a hidden gem of a tree will be hiding behind your material. With just a little wire and some effort, you can transform it into something wonderful to look at. Ill make sure to post photos of the finished product.
