For Beginners:
Most beginners are always more likely to kill a bonsai tree by underwatering than overwatering. When the weather gets hot, give your tree a little extra water. It will appreciate it.

Watering Tip:
Try to thoroughly water your tree from the foliage to the roots. Sometimes the water will roll off the top of the soil. Don't worry, the soil is still absorbing water. You'll notice the soil will change color. If you haven't watered in a while and the soil is too hard or dry, take a rake to loosen the topsoil to let water into the roots.
