What are Tokoname Pots?
Tokoname pots are best known as high quality bonsai pots made in Japan. Traditionally, Tokoname was the city in Japan where the best known bonsai manufacturers were located. However, over time the name Tokoname become synonymous with select high quality bonsai manufacturers outside of Tokoname. All Tokoname pots are all still made in Japan. However, although some do not originate from the city of Tokoname, they still exhibit the same standard of quality and craftsmanship.
