JASON CHAN
Jason’s experience with bonsai spans over 15 years. He served on the board of the Golden State Bonsai Federation and also served for two years as the Editor of their quarterly bonsai publication. Jason supports the local bonsai community with workshops at his nursery and demonstrates regularly at bonsai clubs and other garden organizations throughout Southern California. He is also the author of Bonsai Pocket Guide: A Beginner's Journey, a book he wrote in 2021 to help guide beginners and new enthusiasts learn the basics of bonsai. When he’s not working on his trees, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, two boys, and dogs. You can also find him at the nursery helping visitors learn more about bonsai.
