August 2026, at Montréal Botanical Garden
During Jasons visit to Montréal in August, he had the opportunity to explore the incredible Montréal Botanical Garden (Jardin botanique de Montréal).
Spanning 75 hectares, the garden is a living museum featuring more than 22,000 plant species and cultivars from around the world. Among its winding paths and beautifully designed landscapes is an impressive collection of bonsai and penjing, showcasing the artistry, history, and tradition behind these living works of art.
It’s always inspiring to see how bonsai is displayed, cultivated, and appreciated around the world—and to bring a little of that inspiration back home to Eastern Leaf.
